Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has received numerous awards for her work. She advocates the rights of animals. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. She was raised by an artist family from New York and wanted to explore a career in the artistic fields. In the beginning she was employed as an photographer's assistant. In the future she shifted her focus to modeling and directing. In her first two films, she was recognized and won an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw was a household name after the 1970 hit film Love Story. She was considered for nomination to an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she was voted the Top female box-office start worldwide. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. She was a part of several other movies, including The Getaway Convoy Players and TV miniseries The Winds of War among other. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
