Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American singer, actress and writer. When she was a kid, Sara was racially taunted by a lot of Americans. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she received praises for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. The experience not only boosted confidence in herself, but it also changed her career ambition. In 1992, she received her degree from New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 she made her debut at the Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films in You've got Mail. Her biggest breakthrough was when she played the part in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway show Spamalot garnering not only her the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. In 2007, she was a cast member on the ABC series Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. She is also a known artist and published an extended version of her play. She is also a campaigner and has been active to promote LGBT rights.
