Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is an American writer, singer and actress best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In 1957, she also made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous success, and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career effectively between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing somber characters opposed to her image as being a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. In the last few years she's also been an acclaimed director of well-known television shows like Supernatural or The 100. The family she was born into moved out of Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
