Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. When she was two the mother of her fled from an violent relationship. Pickler was reunited with the mother she had left in 1995 when she took over custody. The situation did not work out as expected. At the age of 12, Pickler was 12years old, the court transferred her to her grandmothers, whom she grew up until adulthood. Pickler was too busy raising her children in the absence of parents. Pickler said she had no time for studies, she started to master cooking and clean from a very early stage. Pickler was part of her middle school and high school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School graduated her in 2004. Pickler tried out her luck as a model. She was crowned Miss Stanly Country.
