Pickler who was born Kellie Dawn Pickler in June of 1986, went through an extremely difficult childhood. At the age of two her mother fled to avoid an abusive situation. Pickler was reunited with the mother she had left in 1995, when she was appointed the custodian. It was, however, not a good experience. After Pickler reached the age of 12years old, the court transferred her to her grandparents, who brought her up to adulthood. In the absence of her parents, Pickler was too busy being a parent to her siblings. She confessed that, in the absence of both parents, Pickler was too busy to attend school. In the meantime, she began learning how to look after her family at an earlier time. Pickler took part in cheerleading teams of her high school as well as middle school. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in 2004. Pickler is also an accomplished beauty queen. She was once named Miss Stanly County. Her modeling career began at a very young age and in 1984 she made her debut in the film Once Upon a Time in America. Her modeling career went on for a few years until she began acting. She appeared in films like Phenomena, Labyrinth and Career Opportunities. Today is the day to celebrate!
