Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen is an American actor, model, and singer from St. Louis Missouri. Most well-known is her character on the CW television show Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. The song of Momsen has been featured on films and television shows such as How to Be a Single and Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. Her dance training was at St. Louis' Center of Creative Arts. She began acting professionally when she was three for a commercial that was aired in 1997 for Shake and Bake. Momsen went on a career hiatus for more than three years, before being chosen to play the lead role in Misconceptions, a WB TV series. Momsen also appeared involved in the film Saving Shiloh in the year 2006. Additionally, she auditioned for the role of lead in Hannah Montana. She was among the top 3, however, Miley was chosen to play the lead role.
